Plummer, Arthur W., Jr. - Trooper First Class, 36 years old, 14 years and 6 months of service from October 16, 1946 to April 9, 1961. Trooper First Class Plummer was killed in a plane crash while trying to locate an individual on Assateague Island. After locating the individual and attempting to take off, the plane crashed on the beach.
